About Ikaika
Ikaika Gilman is a Hawai‘i-born coach, hospitality professional, and founder of House of Hā.
His professional life has spanned more than two decades across hospitality, fitness, coaching, and the creation of experiences designed to help people move and feel better.
Before joining The Walt Disney Company, Ikaika worked in luxury hospitality at The Kahala Mandarin Oriental and across the fitness industry in Hawai‘i, including personal training, health and wellness work, and developing his own fitness programs and boot camps.
In 2011, he joined Disney as part of the opening team at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. His work included developing fitness programming and guest experiences. He later moved to California to continue that work at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, helping develop fitness experiences including boot camp-style programming.
Across those years, one thread remained consistent: working directly with people.
Coaching, hospitality, athletics, breathwork, and eventually technology became different expressions of the same interest — how people move through everyday life, and how thoughtfully designed experiences can support them.
That path eventually led to House of Hā.
Today, Ikaika continues to coach, build, and explore the intersection of movement, reflection, technology, and human experience. He lives in Southern California with his family while remaining deeply connected to Hawai‘i and home.
